Rochester Elementary School Addition Built in 7 Months
Short duration schedule: Building addition needed to be fully completed from design of precast structure to occupancy in 10 months.
Originally scheduled to open for class in September of 2011, the Rochester Memorial School addition is now holding class as of January 3, 2011
and beat the schedule by nine months. From groundbreaking in May of 2010, 22 classrooms (34,385 sq ft) were built with an all precast frame
which took only three weeks to install. The precast exterior walls were load bearing insulated thin brick panels and hollowcore floors.
Problems usually arise because construction is behind schedule, but when it is way ahead of schedule it is time to celebrate... Class in session!

All Precast Bridge built in 4 months South Maple Street Bridge Replacement
Precast reduced the construction time from 1-1/2 years to 4 months. The new 82 foot single span replacement bridge would have to blend in with the
natural beauty of the forest and scenic historic river area. Special forms were designed to make the exposed wing walls look like a masonry stone wall,
