Arsenal Parking Structure

Arsenal Parking garage is a six story parking structure located in Watertown, Mass. The structure was erected in just 55 days and provides parking for 1,100 cars. Strescon fabricated a total of 766 precast, prestressed concrete elements consisting of columns, spandrel panels and double tee floor slabs.

In order to replicate the look of the surrounding ex-military buildings, the exterior columns were formed to allow for a brick facade to be placed over the exterior face. A solid red precast band at the second and fifth floor levels complements the brick facade. The spandrel panels were cast with a recess pattern to create an appealing finish.
